About Frontier Format

Frontier Format defines the data that moves between connectors, datasets, training, and visualization. Its chunked dataset layout preserves simulation context alongside surfaces, volume meshes, regular grids, and point clouds.

  • Represent steady and transient simulation data.
  • Keep solver settings, boundary conditions, and geometry provenance with the fields.
  • Read, write, and validate datasets with the reference tooling.
